Tranmere story
Calum MacDonald is a Scottish left-back from Nottingham. He came through Derby County’s academy, where he was named the club’s Under-23 Player of the Year in 2016–17, and represented Scotland at under-21 level.
After loan experience with Elgin City and Barrow, MacDonald joined Blackpool in 2019. He moved to Tranmere Rovers initially on loan in August 2020 and made the move permanent in February 2021. He later played for Stockport County, Bristol Rovers and Mansfield Town, before continuing his career in Scotland.
